London is not only one of my favorite travel locations but also somewhere I spend a lot of my time. It is home away from home. Everything about it exhilarates me; the fashion, the lifestyle and of course, the food! Having been vegetarian my whole life and traveling all over the world, I have found simple ways to find the best restaurants  around me. Spending my day strolling around the city, collaborating with biggest brands, hustling to get as much work done, I finally get to kick back and enjoy a delicious meal after a long exhausting day.

Here are some of my go-to spots in London! Trust me they are absolutely drool-worthy.

People who loved Palomar though they could never enjoy another restaurant more, but that is where they are wrong. Located in the iconic Neal’s Yard in Covent Garden, Barbary takes its inspiration from the Barbary Coast. The restaurant’s menu is a reflection of the countries from the Atlantic Coast through to the Mediterranean Sea leading to Israel. All of the countries have rich culinary traditions, flavorful spices, cooking techniques, and exotic products passed down from generations. The restaurant has been declared Time Out’s number one restaurant in London for the second year running. One of their bestselling dishes is their Lebanese tapas, and their chilis dish is also worth mentioning.

An iconic Italian restaurant located on London’s Knightsbridge Green, Signor Sassi is famous for its hearty cuisine, as well as the famous clientele who frequent it. Signor Sassi is where I go if I want my tummy filled and indulge in celebrity sightings at the same time. The restaurant has been the favorite stomping ground of some of London’s most recognizable faces for 20 years. Here you can expect politicians, sports stars and entrepreneurs but let’s not take away from the food. Some of the signature dishes which I personally love are the tortellini stuffed with asparagus and gorgonzola, as well the lobster scampi and prawn cocktail.

Hakkasan has two branches in London, one in Mayfair and another in Hanway Place in Soho and both do not disappoint. I love the restaurant’s contemporary take Cantonese cuisine and the elegantly designed interiors are nothing to complain about. They offer a unique wine list and innovative cocktails which are both combined with Chinese dishes and carefully chosen dim sum. The vegetarian options are incredible but don’t take my word for it, and you should go there and try it yourself.

One of the most Instagrammable places in London, Feya Café is the prettiest patisserie in the city. They have a huge selection of pastries and cakes, alongside a sumptuous breakfast menu specially created by cookbook author and Instagrammer, Virpi Mikonnen. Located just next to Selfridges, it is the perfect shopping break. I personally adore their avo toast and being able to take picture perfect shots is a bonus!

The hype about this restaurant is justified. Their signature dish, the taco al pastor, is an import contributed by the Lebanese who emigrated to Mexico during the 50s and the 60s. Though influenced by lamb shawarma kebabs, they have a variety of vegetarian options. Piled up on house-made corn tortilla and sprinkled with chunks of pineapple, you can never go wrong.

A restaurant that pays respect to the decadence and opulence of Shanghai in the 1930s, Park Chinois has two dining areas and undeniably excellent vibe. I just literally go there for their mouth-watering schicuan dumplings and of course to enjoy the cabaret that engages your senses and evokes many emotions. What can be better than enjoying a great show while partaking London’s most exceptional Chinese food?

This contemporary Japanese restaurant in Knightsbridge just recently celebrated its 15th anniversary, and their longevity in the industry speaks volumes about them. Fabulous in all aspects, Zuma timeless Zen-interiors, and a sleek design. Tables are hard to come by because of their trend-setting cocktails as well as some of the finest Japanese cuisines in the city.

Rosa Thai offers the zesty, fresh and delicate flavors of Southeast Asian dishes. Prepared with seasonal ingredients, some of the recipes which are to-die-for are the pad Thai, and the Thai curry without fish oil. Vegetarians happily frequent the place too because they have plenty of vegetarian options.

Located in High Street, Ranoush Juice is the only place to go if for Lebanese wraps. The symphony of flavors playing in my mouth while satisfying myself with their wraps was further amplified by the pleasant surprise of the crispy aubergines inside. Nothing ever goes wrong with their Lebanese fare.
