1. Fu He Hui

Ranked as one of the best restaurants in Asia, Fu He Hui opened in 2014 in the heart of Shanghai’s Changning District. Very Quickly it became a darling of the city where all the affluent people were seen in.

Inspired by Buddhist practices, they offer a healthy Chinese cuisine based on vegetables only. This three-storey villa is furnished to represent the regal Ming and Qing dynasty of China. They offer three spectacular menus with eight delicious courses. You have to try their lotus fungus soup with baby corn, white fungus, black medlar and vegetarian consommé – Yum!

2. Pied a Terre

Pied a Terre is a steller French vegetarian restaurant operated by the creative culinary head named David Moore. Since 1991 this fabulous chef has changed the gastronomic direction of London. This eatery is found near the historic British Museum.

Their venue is quite intimate yet vibrant perfect for romantic dinners or business lunches. The second floor of this restaurant is reserved for parties or hosting large groups. From the seasonal menu to wines, everything is marvellous. Their carrot veloute& skate is everyone’s favourite!

3. Arpege

A three Michelin-star holder, known for its divine French delicacies. It is located close to the Musee Rodin. Arpege has been living up to its expectations for the past 4 decades. The locals insolently credit it for pioneering vegetarianism in Paris.

This lavish place is open all day and leaves everyone bamboozled with its glimmering décor and undeniably skilled service. Order their multi-coloured vegetable ravioli and strawberries cigaline garnished with hibiscus petals for dessert.

4. Nix

A powerhouse of vegetarianism in New York that has recently been awarded its first Michelin-star ever. Comparatively more affordable than the other restaurants mentioned on our list, however this eatery does not compromise on flavor. Their soulful meals will even make a carnivore desiring for more. This warmly-lit lustrous restaurant is located in Greenwich Village. Chef John Fraser has intricately crafted the whole menu giving special attention to brunch or dinner.  Their my darling cocktail with crystalized ginger cake is wondrous!

5. Joia

Situated in Porta Nuova of Milan, this place is popular for being Europe’s and Italy’s first-ever vegetarian restaurant to hold a Michelin-star. Attracting tourist from far and wide, their unusual menu will blow your socks from. People who have eaten here claim it was one of the best meals of their entire life. Order their risotto with asparagus and relish the blissful marry of flavours.

Each of these restaurants has earned their Michelin-stars through blood, sweat and mainly food marking their names in this diverse culinary cosmos!
