Paneer Butter Masala, a staple North Indian dish. It is cheesy, flavorful, spicy and completely mouth watering! Trust us this recipe is worth a try. For all you Jains out there, this is the best recipe, keeping in mind not to use roots, onion, garlic and other restrictions. 

Ingredients required for the Gravy

2 De-seed Tomatoes 
2 Kashmiri Mirchi 
6-7 Cashew Nuts 
1/2 tablespoon Salt 
1/2 tablespoon Sugar 
1/2 tablespoon Kasthuri Methi 
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder 
1/2 tablespoon Jeera Powder 
1 tablespoon Red Chilli Powder
1 teaspoon Garam Masala 


Other Ingredients 

250gms Paneer 
2 tablespoon Butter 
3 tablespoon Fresh Cream 
Coriander Leaves 


To Make The Paneer Yellow  :

1) Boil one glass water, add 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder and let it boil for 2minutes.
2) Add Paneer Cubes 
3) Let it cook for 3-5minutes and the paneer will change its colour to light yellow. 


To Make the Gravy  :

1) Cut the de-seeded tomatoes into pieces. Cook the Kashmiri Mirchi and tomatoes together by adding a glass of water. Allow it to cook for 5-10minutes
2) Let it cool down
3) Add kasthuri methi, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, sugar, red chilli powder, jeera powder, cashew nuts and the cooked tomatoes and kashmiri mirchi. Grind all the ingredients together to make a smooth gravy 


For the Tadka  :

1) Add 2 tablespoon Butter 
2) Add the gravy along with 2 tablespoon water only if the gravy is too thick
3) Around 3 tablespoon Fresh Cream and then add the yellow paneer. 
4) Garnish with coriander leaves 

Paneer Butter Masala is ready to be served
