She recently posted on her Instagram, saying; “44 days until Coachella!! Vegan Time!! Click the link in my bio to join me! 💪🏽✨”

Vegans everywhere should be delighted at this little prompt, as for her to directly encourage all 125 million of her followers to switch to veganism, is objectively positive.

The link in her bio was to a meal delivery service, called 22 Days Nutrition. Beyonce actually co-owns this, alongside Marco Borges, a vegan entrepreneur . The brand encourages people to go vegan, stating that it only takes 21 days to break the habit from meat and dairy. It offers continious support from food coaches, life-giving recipes added daily, a unique plant for you, grocery delivery, and nutrition information on every single meal. Veganism made easy.

Many of Beyonce’s fans have pledged to join Beyonce, with the original post gaining more than 3.5 million likes, since posting. This is great news for the vegan community, the animals, and the planet. Importantly, Beyonce only goes vegan for cochella. For the rest of the year, the term “plant-based” is more commonly used. This basically refers to when people will eat predominately plant-based foods but will dip into dairy and meat products every now and then.

Obviously, we don’t want to put a downer on this great news. When such a prominent celebrity spreads the message of veganism, in such a positive light, also highlighting how healthy and energetic she is – we can only be happy.

As a vegan community, with more and more people transitioning, even if they just make small changes. Every little helps.
