What is even better than a Christmas market? A vegan Christmas market! We are quite sure that people are delighted with the idea of having stall after stall of vegetarian goodies. Vegetarians everywhere should rejoice because a two-day Vegan Christmas market is coming to Gloucester, United Kingdom, starting on the 1st of December 2018 at Blackfriars.
With more than 60 vendors in the lineup, there is so much to see, taste and experience. Vendors are guaranteed to offer nothing but cruelty-free food for the Christmas table and eco-conscious products which make for incredible gifts. Brands such as Badgers Vegan Kitchen, Ice Green, Tipple on Tap, Pure V, Butterbelle, and Aim2Be will be participating in the biggest vegan festival in Gloucester.
Founders Naomi Bayle and Katie Lawrence organized the first Vegan Christmas Market in 2017. They were inspired by the same markets sprouting in nearby cities, and they wanted to bring the same variety to their doorstep. They first hosted a vegan fair during Easter, and because it was a resounding success, they thought of having one in time for the Christmas season.
Some of the holiday products which will tickle your taste buds are vegan chocolates, cakes, and cheese. They deserve a place on your festive holiday table. There is also food to enjoy at the market such as Indian pizzas, falafel, as well as Mediterranean and Greek cuisines. Bars are serving vegan coffees, bars, beers, wines, hot chocolate, and even vegan baileys! Being in the Christmas Market is like having your Christmas wish granted!
No Christmas market is complete without Santa, so everyone will be happy to know that Santa Claus will be making an appearance to hand out dairy-free chocolate and wooden toys to families. The market will also include storytelling and all-day craft areas for families to participate in. The event is a favorable introduction to vegetarianism and veganism, so everyone is encouraged to bring their friends. After all, vegan chocolates have a power of persuasion.
